Literacy
We follow The National Literacy Framework which focuses on preparing learners to read and write by exposing them to skills-building activities that promote good literacy habits and these habits are related to reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Science
Science is a way of making sense of the world, and the universe beyond it. Science involves systematically making and testing ideas, collecting evidence through a variety of methods, problem-solving, and creating new knowledge. Scientific knowledge and ways of thinking help to inform technological innovations and creative solutions to problems. All this we entrench in our science classes.

Writing
Writing is embedded into our daily activities. We demonstrate the act of writing but, crucially, write alongside children, articulating the thought

Geography
Geography teaching in primary schools is very different to that in secondary schools. In most primary schools, students are taught the whole curriculum by their class teacher and, as Fran Martin says in the opening quote, literacy and numeracy have dominated in recent decades

Mathematics
Our Mathematics curriculum covers five content areas at the primary level: Number; Shape and Space; Measurement; Data Handling; and Algebra.

Physical Education
Physical education as a subject aims at providing all-round development of the child. It is through this process at the school level, that children are exposed to sports. Children by their nature take delight in physical activity irrespective of sex, race, family status, religion or geographical location.
